FAQ
Is it a subscription?
No. $99 once, for one person on all their Macs. Updates are free for as long as the app exists. You can try it free for 14 days before buying.
How does the licence work?
After payment you get a key by email. Paste it into Settings in the app. The key is checked on your Mac with a public key built into the app, so activation works offline and we never see your machine.
Do I need my own Claude account?
Yes. adhdTerminal runs Claude Code, which signs in to your Anthropic account. We never see your prompts or your key.
Does it work with other agents?
Today it is built around Claude Code. Other command-line agents are on the roadmap.
Is it made for people with ADHD?
It is made for anyone who runs several things at once and loses track. We run ten to twenty sessions a day ourselves. The name is honest about who built it and why. It is not a medical product and makes no clinical claims.
What happens when I quit?
Every tile comes back in the same place and resumes the same session on the next launch.
Can I use my own terminal settings?
Yes. Each tile is a real shell with your dotfiles. Fonts and colours of the wall itself are set in Settings.
Where does it store data?
In your home folder, in one small file. There is no server and no account.
Can I get a refund?
Within 14 days of purchase, for any reason. See the refunds page.
Is it notarised?
Every build is notarised by Apple and signed with an update key built into the app.
