Tiles, feed and metrics
What a tile is
A tile is one Claude Code session in one folder, with a title bar the wall controls. The terminal inside is real: scrollback, colours, interactive prompts all work.
Titles
With AI titles on, the wall asks Claude for a two-to-four-word name whenever a tile changes, at most every 30 seconds. Double-click a title to set your own; a manual title is never overwritten.
The feed row
Three short lines under the terminal, written by the session itself. Claude Code inside each tile is told how to post to the wall and uses it to report results: “Tests green”, “PR opened”, “Waiting for your answer”. Newest on top, three lines maximum.
The metrics row
Up to four numbers with labels, centred under the feed. Sessions use it for counts that matter to the job: files changed, tests passed, rows imported.
The local hook server
The wall listens on 127.0.0.1 only. Each session is told its tile id in its system prompt and posts JSON to it. An unknown tile id returns 404 with an explanation, so an agent can never believe it reported something it did not.
State on disk
Open tiles, their positions, titles and session ids are kept in a small JSON file in your home folder. Delete it and the wall starts empty. Nothing is stored anywhere else.
